ReplyDeleteMore beautiful pictures from one of the best in the blogiverse! All of my friends in the British Isles have been complaining about the cool, wet, dreary summer. Now that the weather's fine I can understand why you are eager to get out and about. I hope the sun shines on your entire weekend, dear Kelly-marie, even at night!
ReplyDeleteplaytime in the rain is always fun. Loving your umbrella! I just adore folks who stray from the basic black umbrellas, I mean live a little people :)
ReplyDeleteLOVELY! You have some of the best hats ever!
ReplyDeleteThat umbrella is fantastic! It's definitely worth investing in a pretty umbrella with the amount that we have to use them! It's great that we're finally getting some sunny weather this weekend!
ReplyDeletePS your hair is so beautiful!

ReplyDeleteThat first picture there is stunning! I LOVE your umbrella, man oh man I need a good umbrella, Scottish Autumn will beat Scottish Summer's ass with it's unforgiving weather! It's one of those things I'm forever on a quest for! Anyway - your outfit is too cute! :) I love your 1930's Art Deco Magnifying glass!!!! Ahh!!! Perfect! :) Your things always make me smile, I love your hat from the post the other day! :) Have an excellent week! Zoë x

Thanks for all your lovely comments. :D
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that the sun has been out the past couple of days. I agree with you all about the necessity for a pretty/ interesting umbrella. This one is one of my favourites and was the first vintage umbrella I ever brought. I have a couple of them now and you really can't beat them for style and more importantly strength. They are so well made and hardy, probably one of the most important accessories for our unpredictable weather here in the UK.
Hope you have all had happy Monday's xxx
And oh MY - have we seen some rain!!! I was in London on Wednesday night and I can't remember ever having such wet feet after getting caught in a downpour. But on to your lovely outfit here: you manage to make rain look rather enjoyable, and that's a major feat.
ReplyDeleteOooh Another beautiful vintage hat! I wish I looked as glamorous in the rain, just loove that vintage brolly!! Normally I manage to forget my brolly and end up looking like a drowned rat! oh and the decoupage box is fabulous, it looks like it should hold magical fairytale treasures!
ReplyDeleteNever underestimate the value of a good umbrella. Also, I am very jealous of your eyeglass necklace. Have been wanting one for some time now.
