May
Between the lilac and the rose-
The drifting tide of blossom flows;
An ecstasy of pink and white
Scenting the quiet aisles of night
As though the branches of the trees
Had caught the foam of coral seas.
The world is young, both man and maid
March in it's eager cavalcade.
In city street and scented lane,
The golden age is born again;
And there is hapiness to win,
For summer is a'coming in.

Emma, I know, it's such a lovely one. I have worn it out as a dress but not to work, worried it will get ruined. Also i'm waiting for warmer weather so I dont feel so naked. Cant believe this rain, we just went out and braved it cant keep waiting around for it to stop.
DeleteGlad my poem made you feel better, it did me too so lets hope it's true. :)
Hope you have a lovely week. xx
This is so exquisite! You look exactly like you've stepped out of a '10s tableau. And your garden...!! What a charming spot.
ReplyDeleteYou look sooo beautiful, Kelly-Marie!! And gorgeous pictures as always! Oh and your 20s headdress is amazing! xxxx

ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful and I enjoyed reading the poem too.
ReplyDeletethat's your garden!? Its beyond beautiful as are you. Really you look stunning in these pics.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU and yes it is, trust me we can't believe how lucky we are. We live in a rented house and could'nt believe it when we first saw the garden. It's so over grown but it has all the original victorian paving and has cabbage roses growing. We are always so thankful to the old lady who lived here before us, she planted such a beautiful selection of plants so it's lovely all year round. I hope we don't ever have to leave.
DeleteWhat a lovely poem! You look stunning as ever! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and romantic just as you always are. The poem was fabulous as well. I'm so sick of the rain I can't even begin to tell you. Hopefully, our summer days will be filled with beautiful sun.

Woaaah! You look like a pre-raphaelite dream! Absolutely stunning <3 xx
ReplyDeleteDear Kelly-Marie,
ReplyDeleteOh my, you're really looking like a stunning goddess in that outfit. So beautiful and seductive! Do you know that you're also a lookalike of the pretty singer Caro Emerald, in my opinion. I like your blog and don't want to miss new posts so I'm following you as from now. Best wishes and I hope you enjoy springtime, Flora.
Thank you for following me, I ma following you back, your blog is lovely! Wow what a comliment, I just checked her out and she is so beautiful. Very flattered that you think I look like her. :)
DeleteForgot to say that I'm completely over the moon with that four leaf clover heart pendant. It's too cute.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh so so so beautiful! I love every picture, the wisteria is so gorgeous and so is your nightie. I'm amazed you managed to take these pictures with all this rain!!! xxx
ReplyDeletePicture perfect my sweet! :D I love your gown, your crown, the flowers and all surrounding your pretty self in your pretty garden! Love it, you really do look like a starlette, one whom I want to meet and photograph more and more every time you post! :)
ReplyDeleteI have been reaching into poems about our local areas and all the words of beautiful flowers and sunshine are just breathtaking and I wish we could be transported into, well, just warmth and sunshine!!! Although I love how I can see the raindrops in your hair! Just adds to your majestic qualities! :) I hope work has been good and you and your fella are enjoying your week so far pretty lady! xxx
Thank you, you darling girl! I can't wait for us to meet. You can take pictures of me and I can take pictures of you and hopefully the sun will be shining on us the whole time we do it. :)

ReplyDeletexoxo,

Thank you, so happy you like it. :)
DeleteLove your garden, I am jealous.
ReplyDeleteAnd love the pendant, I'm always on the lookout for an actual four leaf clover but I've never managed to find one :-( Can't grumble too much though as I found a 5 leaf clover as a child and it turns out they're more rare than the 4 leaf ones.
Hope your well (I can't wait for the rain to go away).
x
I'm good thank you darling, how are you? Aww well hopefully when the weather is getting better ( fingers crossed it stays like it is today) you can come over when we have a BBQ.
DeleteWOW a five leaf clover! That's impressive, you must get double the luck for that. I love mine so much. Being the superstious little being, I am scared to take it off as all my recent good luck has to have come from it. ;)
Hope you have a lovely week Ben. x
I'm good thanks. And yeah, weather finally looks like it's getting better (fingers crossed). I am off to Paris tomorrow, so I'm hoping the weather there is good. Popping over to Disneyland (my trip to LA Disneyland had to be postponed due to cashflow as just getting to the states is expensive, but Paris will be good I'm sure).
DeleteHope you have a lovely week too.
x
Oh wow! Have an amazing time Ben, you lucky thing. Speak soon. x

DeleteNow that is a lovely garden! ♥ You look lovely, like a spring nymph! Have a nice weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteO, for a draught of vintage! that hath been
ReplyDeleteCool'd a long age in the deep-delved earth,
Tasting of Flora and the country green,
Dance, and Provençal song, and sunburnt mirth!
O for a beaker full of the warm South,
Full of the true, the blushful Hippocrene,
With beaded bubbles winking at the brim,
And purple-stained mouth;
That I might drink, and leave the world unseen,
And with thee fade away into the forest dim:
(John Keats. 'Ode to a Nightingale'. May 1819).
So beautiful! I should have thought of this poem. John Keats is one of my favourites. Lovely comment once again Rehan, thank you.
DeleteI'm in love with this post - the colors, clothing, and you are absolutely DIVINE! <3
ReplyDeleteSTUNNING pics, the outfit is dreamy and you look beautiful...x
