Pictures taken at Rhinefield House by Craig after an afternoon of tea and cake with my Gran sitting beside their beautiful ponds.

I'm sure you will be seeing much more of Rhinefield house as it is my new favourite place to visit when I go back home.
It is surrounded by (in my opinion) the best part of The New Forest. I haven't had a chance to explore it's famous Alhambra Smoking Room yet either.

I am wearing:
1940's hat
1930's Satin bed jacket
1940's velvet skirt
Edwardian style boots

all from Beyond Retro

1930's sunglasses from Top Tottie Vintage

Wednesday love to you.

  9. You look so at home and relaxed, you should be living there! What a glorious spot for a day out, you look utterly gorgeous and I have no idea how people back in the 30s and 40s managed to keep their beautiful smalls and bedwear under wraps - they ought to be flashed about just like this:)) xo

    1. I am beginning to think that too ( about living there), well in The New Forest at least. I know! I don't know how they saved all that beauty just for the bedroom. xx

  11. Wow! I have to go here! It's absolutely beautiful (as are you!) you really do fit right in with your 30s/40s outfit! If this hasn't been used as a location for a film then it should be! I love that stone bench. What lipstick are you wearing, it suits you so much!

Hope you've been having a good week!

    1. Thank you Emma. I'm sure it has been used for Film/ TV before. It's one of the main hotels in The New Forest and I think lot's of celebs stay there. They have time share apartments for the elderly, I a special self continaed wing with a swimming pool! Better start saving now for my retirement. ;-)
My lipstick is 'Superstay' my Mabeleine. This colour is 'Maroon' but I also wear their 'Cherrybomb' and 'Passion' reds. They're so good. Have you tried them? The only problem is that they tend to dry out and chip, but otherwise they really do stay put for a whole day. xx

  17. There's something so alluringly romantic about the idea of wearing a vintage bed jacket outside of the bedroom, and you've certainly transmitted the feeling in these beautiful images.
