Photo's taken by Craig in the grounds of Beaulieu Palace
I am wearing:
1940's Edwardian style coat~Edwardian Style boats } Beyond Retro
Edwardian Petit point bag} Antique Market

The dried Roses in my hair were a Valentines present from Craig
More from the coat that you were all so fond off. I have been living in it. Did anyone else watch the series The Paradise on BBC One? I was very excited when I spotted Denise wearing one very simular.
These photo's were taken recently in the grounds of Beaulieu palace. Their gardens, herb and vegetable patches are the closest I will ever get to living inside the pages of a Beatrix Potter story. So beautiful.
If you would like to see more from our New Forest and Coastal adventures, Craig has started his own blog, publishing all of his photography. It is called Owl In The Wood and you can visit it here.
He he! That picture of you poking out from behind the hedge is my favourite! Lovely to see some pictures of you exploring and enjoying your new home. Will have to definitely check out Craig's blog too x
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely lady. That picture is my favourite too. :-) xx
DeleteAbsolutely lovely pictures
ReplyDeleteBethan xx
Thank you Bethan. xx
DeleteThis place looks like the stuff of dreams! At first I thought these were images from your new home and nearly died of jealousy. I'm still dying, just less painfully. It looks amazing! And Craig's blog is looking great, Jesse seems to have forgone his little internet corner lately!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much again for your kind words on my post lady. I was really struggling with not saying anything and just hope I haven't come across immaturely. xx
Thank you darling! I WISH it was our new home. :-) You're welcome and not at all! I would have done the same if it was me. xxx
Deletelove those dry flowers in your hair,
ReplyDeletearen't they too delicate to wear?
did you make them into a hair accessory,
please, please reveal your secret...
Hehe. They are very delicate but I wound them on to wire to strengthen them then put them on bobby pins. They're fine as long as you don't lie down on them and crush them. :-) xx
DeleteBeautiful oh so beautiful photographs! It's a dream coat and I love the flowers in your hair. Will check out Craig's blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you Emalina. xx
DeleteWhat a gorgeous place, and of course you are looking beautifully ethereal as always. Yeah that coat makes me dribble, I need new coats I keep wearing the same one and its getting embarrassing everytime the lining rips in work aha. xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you love. Ha ha! I am exactly the same, nearly all of my coats (including this one) need the lining mended. I just keep putting it off because I know it will cost loads. Naughty naughty. xx
DeleteOh what a heavenly spot to visit and your coat, hair flowers, boots and bag are like sweeties for my eyes! I imagine Beaulieu Place must be covered in snow by now, you don't mind popping back there and doing a snow shoot for me do you? ;) xo
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Desiree! Hehe I couldn't go back to Beaulieu but i did have some lovely snowy forest adventures, Craig took lot's of pictures don't you worry. :-) xx
DeleteYou look beautiful as always and I love your coat, it is so 'you' and compliments your style perfectly. I am sick to death of my 3 coats now and desperately need a new one to inject some life into my wardrobe :( xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you Dulcie. I know what you mean, although I have to say that your three coats ( I think I have seen them all?) are all very lovely! xxx
DeleteAww you are the best! I love your coat and hair and that comment^ made me laugh as I can't count how many times in my life I have had dried crushed flowers in my hair from accidents and mis-pinnings! hehe! I only just got your comment from my October post! I am way too busy! I have a bunch of moons and star hair guys mid-made, I just have to paint their backs, it's on my to-do list which will hopefully shrink considerably over the next few days if I do not procrastinate!!! :) Time slips away!!! But mostly I get distracted by cats and my boy =^..^= Seven years strong you guys really are kindred spirits! I too can not wait to meet you and see pictures on here of your lovely new home! Oh! I bet you are making it look lovely as I type! Or enjoying a lazy Sunday!? :) Well, take care kitten and have a lovely start to your week! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful! I absolutely love these photos, everything looks so romantic... And what a wonderful outfit! I've just been to have a look at Craig's blog, I'm quite a fan of photography so will definitely be popping back from time to time. Hope that you had a good week-end!
ReplyDeleteI love these photos of you and Craig and the gardens, it really makes me want to go to Ardgillan Castle which is near where I grew and has the most beautiful grounds overlooking the sea. I know you'd love it! My favourite photo is the one of you underneath the archway of trees. I always say to Donnacha I wouldn't mind Winter so much if it was sunny all the time. Hope you had a lovely weekend Kelly-Marie!

ReplyDeleteKelly-Marie ... looking as beautiful as ever! I'm just doing a blog catch up and seem to have missed numerous posts of yours. I didn't even realise you had moved out of London! Hope you're very happy in the beautiful New Forest. M x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures as always.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds one of the recording of this Betjeman poem with a vague connection which I think you'll like 'Youth and Age on Beaulieu River, Hants (1945)'.
