An Immaculate Tale
Tim Walker for Casa Vogue 2010
Based on Pictures of The Bright Young People preparing for a costume party taken by Cecil Beaton. Cecil is also a hero of mine and those particular images (including the one above) are among my favourites. Perhaps that's why An Immaculate Tale resonates with me so much, and I too long to sleep in a giant shell bed on the pond overlooking a house like that...One day maybe.
OMG, that bed at the top!!!!! Amazing!
ReplyDeletebufff...Is magical world.... one day I translate you a poem from Mallorca, I think that you will like it!
ReplyDeleteTumbet Closet.

Wasn't it wonderful. It was amazing to see the swan boat up close. Xx
DeleteErm please can I have the swan boat and the bones bed?! Amazing, when are you going to share the pictures Tim Walker did of you and Craig? I don't think I imagined that. xxx
ReplyDeleteI knew you would appreciate the beds!! You didn't imagine it darling. They are in a frame and I need to scan them in. I look super awkward in them ( because I was scared and star struck) but Craig looks cool and it's too good a moment not to share. Thank you for reminding me to do it. Xxx
DeleteI want to see tooo! I love the Walker. Gorgeous xxx
DeleteYes yes yes yes yes!! Also one of my all time favourites. So dreamy xx
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to sleep in that shell too! Walker's a visionary isn't he. Another photographer I love is Kirsty Mitchell, especially her ongoing Wonderland series, so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI can totally see you in an Oyster bed on a pond. You might have to compromise and just have an oyster shell bed in your house but still that'd be impressive! Stunning images. Tim Walker never ceases to amaze and inspire! Hope you're well Kelly-Marie!

Love this shoot! But then again I am a HUGE Walker fan. The recent exhibition at Somerset house was amazing.
