My dreams in book form...? The weather is getting warmer and all I want to do is spend days long in amongst all my flower friends. If I had all of these gals outifts then that would help and I wouldn't mind being called Winifred either!
I was trying to choose a favourite and it's a toss up between 'A Herbaceous Border' and 'Lilies and Roses', I could move right on in to those ones.
Which ones would you choose?
As always please share graciously and link back to me, thank you!

So lovely! Irises are my favourite, with Daffodils and January also divine.
ReplyDeleteFirstly ,
ReplyDeleteI want this book , its truely beautiful.
As a gardener i adore everyone,
but like yourself i love the herbaceous border as we are all dieing for the summer border in my cottage garden,
But, also i love "the poppies" because , thats me , with the abandoned hat and fork once the sun has set over the yard arm ( time for refreshment, usually a cold beer)and i have abit of a thing for poppies, then january as i love her boots and hat, sorry for long response , but this is just lovely

Such beautiful illustrations. Thank you for sharing. Favourites are daffodils and irises.
ReplyDeleteYes the lilies and roses has to be my favourite too. Wish my garden looked as glorious as these! xxx
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I'd have loved to have it as a child (or now!). The "Cornish Cottage" one is so sweet! What makes it more exciting is that I'm finally having a little "garden in the balcony" for the first time in months so I can actually get inspired by it and do something! xxx
ReplyDeleteThese are such wonderful pictures! And any mention of herbaceous borders always makes the Belle & Sebastian line pop into my head: "I took a photograph of you in the herbaceous border, it broke the heart of men and flowers and girls and trees" <3
ReplyDeleteLovely illustrations. I adore old picture books
