I don't think I really need to explain why I love these photo's so much! I could quite literally live in them.

They are the work of Icelandic photographer Saga Sig. I'm sure that some of you will already be familiar with her blog The Never Ending Story.
Her photography holds so much beauty and atmostphere and the more I read about her the more I have become fascinated by the history and inspiration behind her work.

' My roots can be identified in my photography, the mystique, the love of nature, the love of storytelling and the fairytale themes. When you grow up in the country side of Iceland it is difficult not to see ghosts or feel the energy of nature and the mystique in the air.'

A girl after my own heart for sure. You can read more from that interview here.

Saga and her boyfriend were photographed by Tim Walker for the same W magazine 'The East Enders' photo shoot as Craig and I.

We didn't make the cut (wah!) but I do have poloroids given to us by Tim himself so expect to see them in a post to come.

These are their lovely photo's, isn't she beautiful! She reminds me of the Moon child (style icon) in The Never Ending story, perhaps that's where her blog name came from.

If you want to see more of Saga's work you can find her in all of these places:

Press: Love Magazine- TRASH by Mario Testino

Love1

My very own vintage 1950's black pleated tulle skirt photographed by Mario Testino for Love magazine Issue 7 S/S 2012.

It has been worn by Natalia Vodianova and Rosie Huntington Whiteley, and has shared pages with Kate Moss, Lara Stone and Beyonce! Lucky skirt.

One day I will show you the skirt in it's traditional 1950's glory but for now I will let you enjoy it as the fabulous Panos Yiapanis intended.

A very special thanks to Helen Rendell for making use of my weird and wonderful collection of Vintage.

You can see more images from this shoot here. I would highly advice buying this addition of Love as it has some amazing shoots inluding my new favourite ' The Origins Of Monsters' by Tim Walker.

It also has Lindsay Lohan looking like a smokin hot femme fatale, Karen Elson in a Prada archive shoot, a Busby Berkeley style story for Louis Vuitton, and a hauntingly beautiful White story entitled 'Cold Summer'.

Money well spent!
