Here I am doing my best Lady Mary impression for a Downton Abbey inspired feature, in this week's Look magazine. My bedroom was used as the location and you may also recognize my friends Jessica, Amber and Rob who are also featured.
For those of you who know me in person (and even those who don't) you will probably guess that they might have slightly exaggerated on my interview. ;-) That being said I am so happy with the feature and would like to thank the very lovely girls at Look, it was a pleasure.
This issue is out until Tuesday so go and have a look.

While we are on the subject of Press I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at The Vintage Fair.
I have been included on their guide to Vintage bloggers. I was absolutely thrilled (and honoured) to have been included in amongst so many amazing blogging ladies.
Check their blog out here.
I am still slaving away on my Etsy shop, it won't be long now. In the mean time if 1950's Kitsch is your thing I will be listing lot's of homewares up today on my Ebay.
Sunday love to you.
Kelly-Marie xx

Thanks so much lovely. I feel very happy that a little bit of me was travelling to Paris with you. :-) xxx
DeleteHow exciting that you've personally appeared in a real, print magazine (rather than your styling on others as before)! Did they find your through your blog or through work? Either way, what a fun turn of events. Love the outfit you picked, and it looks perfect in your bedroom x
ReplyDeleteThank you darling. They contacted Beyond Retro's press department to see if there was any one suitable for the feature. They put me forwarded and when I emailed them a link to my blog they loved it and wanted it to be thorugh my blog rather than Beyond Retro. :-)
DeleteSo glad you liked it. x

Oohh I most definitely will. Thank you for your kind words. x
Deletep.s. your home looks gorgeous too :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful article. Recognition is good for the soul. By the way, you have me hooked on Lana Del Rey! She really is a fantastic singer. Intriguingly that monologue on the 'Ride' video is important to me because it captures so many angles of my personal life and the lives of those who have unwillingly become associated with me. I am also a great fan of Downton Abbey. The recent third series was no less brilliant than the previous 2 and we're in for a Christmas Special this year as well! The introduction of Lady Rose MacClare in the final episode in this series has me on tenterhooks. I may have linked to this before but I wrote a short blog recently mentioning Downton Abbey.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rehan, I'm going to go have a read of that in a minute. I'm so happy that you are now a Lana fan, I have been listing to some of her new stuff ( it came out today) and it is just wonderful. I can't stop listning to that Monologue ether, I think that's really amaizng that you relate to it so much. I love it because it is just another level added to her Mystery and the wrting and the way she speaks it is so beautiful. Are you missing Downton now it's finished? I am! :( Lady Rose is a little minx, she is going to be so much fun. Can't wait for the Christmas special and everyones telling me to watch a program called Paradise so i'm hoping that will fill the void for the time being. x
